'Peering over the wall', is the name of the charming action in Ostbevern, whereby the community citizens open their garden to the interested public, every year. It is based on an old English tradition, to open private gardens to the public for a good cause.
The women of the community spoil the guests with homemade cakes and the proceeds will help families in distress or social facilities. The garden Norenz, the pictures are taken from that garden, is an example what to expect.

Space for loving garden design is behind every house, as this garden depicts impressively. On around 1000 sqm, there is a stream, a pond and a hut in the traditional summer house style. Diverse planting with perennials and shrubs, taking the old trees into account, gives this garden character and size.
In summer, water lilies bloom on the pond. A plank in front of the summer house is ideal for reflection. The garden design is being complemented by loving objects and arrangements, which include lots of succulents.
